I forgot how easy it is to make sushi.
Tonight I decided I'd try and give it a shot, since I haven't made it in so long.
Faster than pasta, and way better. It took me a little over a half hour to make it.
And it's way better than store bought because you can use your own ingredients, and it's so much cheaper too!
I played around and used a couple different things. My mom always made it with Umbashi plum sauce, but I couldn't find it, so I used Ubashi plum vinegar. Which is much yummier to dip sushi in than Soy sauce.
For filling I used
- Carrots
- Cucumber
- Avocado
- Sprouts
- Smoked Salmon
- Cream Cheese
- Red Pepper Hummus
In different variations. It was delicious, I must have ate Twenty pieces :)

On another note I went to Michaels craft store recently and saw that they had these wooden 3D puzzle sculptures I made when I was little. They were like a dollar each so I got this Bear!
It was really fun to make, and came out looking really cool.
